What You’ll Do
This hybrid role includes both estimating and project management responsibilities:
Estimating
- Prepare competitive, accurate bids for marine, structural, and underwater construction projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs, solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing, and develop detailed cost estimates
- Participate in project scoping, site visits, and bid strategy discussions
Project Management
- Lead projects from award through close‑out, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and marine assets
- Perform field visits to track progress and verify work conditions
- Manage project budgets, schedules, submittals, documentation, and client communication
- Identify efficiencies, mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement
Work Environment
This role is 70% office / 30% field, including visits to active marine job sites, waterfront structures, and tidal environments.
Office work can be stationed at any one of our offices in Egg Harbor Township, Clermont, or Hamilton, NJ.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in estimating and/or project management
- Marine construction, heavy civil, or structural experience strongly preferred
- BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction means & methods, sequencing, and cost control
- Comfort working around water, marine equipment, and dynamic site conditions
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR (required)
- Willingness to travel within the Mid‑Atlantic region
