Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for end-to-end, full-cycle payroll processing in a non-outsourced environment, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This role requires strong experience with Workday (mandatory), UKG payroll (preferred), and PeopleSoft in a high-volume healthcare setting. The specialist manages payroll for multiple shifts and job types, verifies reimbursements, ensures accurate W-2 reporting, and supports HR and department managers with payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Perform full-cycle payroll processing for employees across multiple shifts and job types.
- Workday Expertise: Utilize Workday for payroll operations; UKG payroll experience is a plus.
- PeopleSoft in Healthcare: Apply PeopleSoft experience in a high-volume healthcare environment.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll accuracy in line with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- W-2 Reporting: Maintain knowledge of federal W-2 reporting requirements.
- Time & Attendance Systems: Work with automated systems; API experience is a plus.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR staff, department managers, and employees to resolve payroll issues.
- Documentation: Process reimbursements, maintain accurate records, and support audits.
MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in employee payroll processing, reimbursements, and labor law compliance
- True end-to-end, full-cycle payroll processing experience in an in-house environment (no 3rd party outsourced payroll)
- Workday experience (Mandatory)
- PeopleSoft experience within a high-volume healthcare environment
- Proven experience processing payroll for multiple shifts (differentials) and various job types
- Knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements
- Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Systems (UKG and API experience are major pluses
Shift Timing: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekly schedule: M-F
CH1
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
