Sweeps is hiring two dependable Maintenance Assistants to support the maintenance team at a student apartment community during apartment turnover season, 7/20-8/22.
This is a temporary, full-time-hour position working alongside the property's maintenance supervisor to help prepare apartments for new residents before the fall semester.
Responsibilities
- Replace HVAC air filters
- Replace light bulbs
- Assemble and place furniture
- Touch-up spackling and minor cosmetic repairs
- Install blinds and other apartment fixtures
- Move furniture and supplies between units
- Assist the maintenance team with apartment preparation
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
- Able to use basic hand tools
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well on a team
- Maintenance, construction, or apartment experience is helpful but not required
