Job Overview

Duties
- Manage and monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to ensure accuracy and availability for order fulfillment
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes to optimize throughput
- Oversee procurement activities and sourcing strategies to maintain cost-effective inventory levels while adhering to international trade regulations
- Collaborate with transportation management systems (TMS) for freight planning, dispatching, and fleet management to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Implement process improvements within warehouse operations, materials handling, and category management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain detailed records of assets, shipments, and transactions in compliance with logistics company standards and shipping logistics protocols
- Support demand planning efforts by analyzing supply chain data and providing insights for inventory control and forecasting
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics management, or warehouse operations with a strong understanding of transportation planning and freight processes
- Technical proficiency with ERP systems (such as AS400 or similar), warehouse management systems (WMS), and CMMS tools for maintenance management
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) procedures, and shipping & receiving protocols
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and packaging techniques for efficient materials management
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret supply chain analytics for continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments including procurement, dispatching, sourcing, and operations teams
