Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Asphalt Screed Operator. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining paving equipment to ensure high-quality asphalt surfaces on various construction projects. Your expertise will help deliver durable, smooth pavements while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt screeds and paving equipment to lay asphalt surfaces with precision and efficiency, ensuring smoothness and proper compaction.
- Maintain and perform routine inspections on paving machinery, including screeds, loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and concrete mixers, ensuring optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience operating asphalt screeds and pavers.
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes.
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards at all times.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for operating trucks.
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
