We are looking to hire for the upcoming holiday season and may turn into a long term position. The UPS Store is seeking an upbeat customer service professional who thrives on making customers smile while multitasking to meet and exceed team goals. We are seeking Customer Sales specialists who can connect our products with the customer's needs (upsell) rather than order takers. Each The UPS Store is individually owned and operated by members of the community. We work closely with local UPS drivers but do not handle package deliveries or driver routes. Our services focus on helping a wide variety of clients from small businesses to individuals, and eCommerce through packing and shipping, mailboxes, graphic design, printing, notary, and more. Saturday and Sunday availability is a must.
- Hours: 28-32 hours per week (4 shifts a week)
- We are open 830-630pm M-F, 9-5 Sat and 10-3 Sun. Shifts will cover a varying range of these hours.
- This is a retail sales position and retail experience would be preferred. Candidates with The UPS Store experience will be given higher preference.
Compensation: During training pay will be $13.75 per hour. Training lasts 3-6 months depending on employee. Experienced candidates can initially start higher.

Requirements:
- Flexible availability Monday – Saturday with some Sundays. We are open 7 days a week with major Holidays off. Saturday and Sunday availability is a must.
- Sales, sales, sales.
- 18+ years old
- Be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods at a time
- 6 months of POS experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, free of spelling and grammatical errors
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suites, or the ability to learn new software is highly desirable
- Previous print or graphic experience a plus
- Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, copiers and binding machinery, packaging tools, and complete customer paperwork
Job Description:
- Smile and greet customers and determine the reason for their visit
- Receive and accurately sort mail in the mailboxes
- Assist customers with shipping services and packaging items to ship
- Assisting customers with copies, printing, faxing, and notarizing
- Process payments and reconcile POS at the end of each day
- Inventory counts, stocking shelves, and general housekeeping
- Capable of becoming a Notary in the State of Idaho
