Senior Project Advisor, Transportation - Dallas, TX
Halff has an immediate opening for an experience Professional Civil Engineer to fulfill the role of Senior Project Advisor specializing in our Transportation practice located in Dallas, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to provide strategic support to expand our transportation practice. The ideal candidate will bring experience working on Transportation advance planning.
The successful candidate should have proven experience in managing complex TxDOT projects, developing new clients, managing a project team, and overseeing successful project delivery. Level:
Provides thought leadership and guidance to the transportation practice. They take on an advisory role on the most complex and challenging projects and initiatives. They are recognized for deep technical and industry knowledge and innovative thinking. Their achievements and depth of knowledge in their specialization or field is the main differentiator.
What you will do:
- Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and schedule.
- Develops and implements mitigation plans to maintain project profitability.
- Mentors project teams with advanced technical and industry knowledge.
- Serves as a recognized expert in the industry, contributing to the firm's reputation and thought leadership.

- Advocates for clients by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional solutions.
- Provides thought leadership and guidance on the most complex and challenging projects.
- Assists in winning work by identifying, tracking, and pursing strategic transportation projects.
What you will need:
- Vast knowledge of TxDOT project development process including advance planning.
- Develop, track and manage project schedule.
- Prepares contract documents including scope/fee.
- Manages/tracks budgets on projects and communicate staffing needs.
- Develops proposals and participates in interviews for complex transportation projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Master's prefered.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
