Are you a smart, dedicated Formulator Compounder with batch mixing and forklift experience? Then this opportunity may be for you!
This position assists in the operation of chemical processing equipment to formulate standard or customer product according to specifications by performing the following:
- Review production schedule and prepare set up for following day. Locate and transport raw materials to production area. Complete paperwork as required.
- Review batch sheet. Clean equipment as required. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients in proper sequence, adding raw materials manually or with pumps and meters. Adjust equipment, temperature, and time according to instructions. Record required information on batch sheet.
- Set pumps and filters using proper safety and quality procedures. Draw sample for Q.C. Fill containers, monitor pump pressure. Weigh container and calculate weight to gallons. Label and record filled containers on drumming sheet.
- Transfer product to varying containers as requested by customer and complete transfer sheet.
- Transfer filled containers to skids and transport to staging area via lift truck.
- Monitor raw material inventory and advise supervisor of needs. Rotate stock. Determine uses for used solvents.
- Maintain housekeeping in work areas.
The hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
