Duties
- Greet members warmly and assist with their banking needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other cash transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills
- Promote and upsell banking products and services such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet member needs
- Manage cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper debits & credits, cash management, and reconciliation at shift end
- Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and following established security protocols
- Support loan origination and processing activities by gathering necessary documentation and verifying information
- Build strong relationships with members through personalized service and effective relationship management strategies
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in banking, retail sales, or customer service preferred, but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with financial software systems used for transactions and account management preferred
- Basic math skills including cash handling accuracy, and 10 key typing proficiency
- Proficient in use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of sales techniques, upselling strategies, and customer relationship building
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, while maintaining compliance with security standards such as fraud prevention protocols
- Must be able to pass a background check and credit check

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
