The goals of the program are increased cohesion amongst the 9th grade cohort, a positive introduction to 9th grade staff, clarity about high school expectations, and building of academic skills. Activities include team-building activities, STEM design challenges, choice-based learning activities, and interactive games to build understanding of high school expectations.
