Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, ensuring timely and thorough service delivery
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance standards and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to optimize efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance needs in all assigned areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction
- Implement quality control procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement in service standards
Requirements
- Proven supervising or management experience within housekeeping or custodial services in hospitality or commercial settings
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and janitorial practices
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards and best practices for cleanliness and safety
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality environments is highly preferred
