Summary
Under limited supervision assists in management and planning related to the Transportation Bond program and provides recommendations regarding efficiencies in the operation of the Transportation Department. Conducts periodic subdivision plat reviews; traffic impact assessments (TIA) reviews and assists in identifying long-range needs related to inter-department Transportation operations. Follows funding avenues promulgated through local,state,and federal agencies including CAMPO and TXDOT.Explores possible partnerships with cities within Hays County regarding transportation, park development, trails development, natural resource protection, and preservation of open spaces. Works with other County staff to optimize funding of special projects. Develops interlocal agreements with entities as needed.
