Help Keep Hygiene Running at Its Best
Fusion Dental & Braces is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to work primarily as a Hygiene Assistant with our Waco team.
This is a great fit for an RDA who enjoys patient interaction, staying one step ahead, and helping create an efficient hygiene experience for both the hygienist and patient.
Rather than spending your entire day doctor-side, your primary focus will be supporting the hygiene department; helping with patient flow, clinical documentation, sterilization, room readiness, and the details that keep the schedule moving smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Work directly alongside and support the hygiene team
- Assist with hygiene patient flow and room turnover
- Perform coronal polishing
- Chart and accurately enter patient notes
- Maintain instrument sterilization and infection-control standards
- Prepare rooms and necessary clinical setups
- Help schedule follow-up appointments and recalls
- Support other clinical team members when needed
- Help create an organized, comfortable experience for patients throughout their visit
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas RDA license
- Previous dental assisting experience
- Coronal polishing certification
- Comfortable supporting a busy hygiene schedule
- Strong charting and clinical documentation skills
- Excellent attention to sterilization and patient safety
- Organized, efficient, and able to anticipate what the team needs
- Positive, dependable, and genuinely team-oriented
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits
$18-$22/hour, based on experience
