Job Description
Shriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a full-time night shift Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. You will provide direct patient care for children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. This involves providing Med-Surg and ICU level of nursing care.

Hours: This full-time nigh shift position works 72 hours bi-weekly and every 3rd weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
Must have excellent communication skills and be skillful in mentoring and teaching.

2+ years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads)
Pediatric and ICU experience
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
The pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
