Contract Occupational Therapist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current AL Professional Educator Certificate and/or
- Current license in desired area or
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution
Reports to: Principal/Program Director
Contract: Temporary
Supervises: n/a
Job Description/Performance Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment of instructional specialty to which assigned.
- Knowledge of student academic growth and development
- Knowledge of school's program of studies related to mission, goals and organization.
- Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and peers.
- Skilled and effective in oral and written communication.
- Ability to use and manage technology including, but not limited to email, internet, videos, etc.
- Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as needed.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Board's policies and procedures.
