Job Summary

Duties
- Perform patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for provider
- Support clinical documentation
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating referrals
- Assist in emergency situations by applying Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology
- Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and ICD coding for billing purposes
- Ability to perform intake assessments, measure vital signs accurately, and support medication administration processes
- Experience working in a fast paced medical practice
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to assist in patient care
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including inpatient and outpatient care recipients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments like emergency departments or urgent care clinics

Pay: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour
