QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements
- ESL Endorsement (NS) preferred or willing to obtain
- Must meet MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the
Certification of MI Teachers
- Computer and data entry experience
- Knowledge and skills in technology
- Knowledge and skills to implement local high school curriculum
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education
and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
DUTIES: Provide a learning environment that is trauma informed
- Provide instruction to address the State Benchmarks using
researched based instructional techniques
- Complete records in a timely manner
- Communicate to all members of the school & community
- Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession
and the position
- Maintain a philosophy in accord with Lincoln Park Public Schools
- Work cooperatively with staff
- Follow the requirements of supervisors
- Provide classroom instruction and keep accurate student records
