Hillcrest Nursing Facility is a skilled nursing facility located in San Bernardino Ca. Hillcrest is a 59 bed facility with no trachs, ventilators or G-Tubes. We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who can work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, and work together as part of a team. The pay is $40.00 hr to $45.00 hr base on experience.
On Call
PT Assistant Job Summary:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines
- Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements
- Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date
Qualifications:
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
- Certification as required by State
- CPR Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Requirements
Education Required:
- Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- Certification: Certification as required by State guideline
Experience:
- 1 year Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
