About Us: Stay Music City is a short-term rental property management company in Nashville, TN, currently managing 20 short-term rentals throughout Davidson County. Stay Music City is owned by Kaski Hospitality Partners, a hospitality real estate company based in Nashville, TN that buys, builds, and operates hospitality assets and brands.
Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain our portfolio of short-term rental properties across Davidson County. This is a part-time position, engaged as a 1099 independent contractor, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and guest-readiness across guest units, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience
- Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday availability is required; no work on Saturdays
- Typical working hours are 10am–4pm, though overall schedule is determined by the cleaning/turnover schedule based on our reservations
Responsibilities:
a) Guest Unit Turnover Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest units between stays — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces throughout guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces — to meet Stay Music City's cleanliness standards.
b) Follow Cleaning Procedures: Adhere to established cleaning procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and thoroughness across all properties.
c) Inventory & Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities as needed, and flag shortages to management.
d) Light Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks such as tightening screws, changing light bulbs, and replacing smoke detector batteries to keep units safe and functional.
e) Quality Inspections: Inspect completed cleaning work to confirm it meets property standards before guest arrival.
f) Guest Requests: Respond courteously and promptly to any guest housekeeping requests or concerns.
g) Health & Safety: Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
h) Communication: Coordinate with management and other cleaners on scheduling and property needs across the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or short-term rental environment required.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple properties.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between properties throughout Davidson County.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or housekeeping software.
