Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic car rental team. In this pivotal role, you will support the store management team in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Salary range is based on experience of ($4k-$6k per month) plus bonuses!
Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Lead and motivate a sales team by providing training, coaching, and development to enhance performance and customer engagement.
- Oversee inventory management processes and inventory control to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and scheduling to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Support operational tasks including and store revenue reporting to ensure smooth business functions.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining optimal pricing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry with supervising experience. (Car Rental experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in basic math for financial transactions, budgeting, and sales analysis.
- Experience with employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting processes.
- Knowledge of retail product lines, pricing strategies, and operational management practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
