Overview
Start Date: June 15, 2026: Work: In Person, Location: Dalton Ranch Golf Course in Hermosa. Join our physical therapy office as a Receptionist/PT Tech, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and supporting clinical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with hands-on patient care, including traction and electrical stimulation. You will be the welcoming face for patients, ensuring smooth intake processes, and assisting with essential clinical tasks.
Duties
- Greet patients on arrival, facilitate paperwork, copy insurance cards, ensure completion of kiosk questionnaire
- In WebPT EHR, duties include: update records, verify referrals, schedule Initial and follow up appointments, manage the waitlist, post payments and run reports.
- For all clients, verify insurance authorizations for commercial insurance, Medicare, Veterans Affairs (VA) and Workmen's Comp
- Provide patients with Electronic Stimulation, or E-Stim.
- Set clients up on traction.
- Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards, including daily laundry.
- Keep office clean including trash removal, vacuuming, surface cleaning, etc.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings is highly preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology and coding to support clinical tasks
- Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or orthopedic patients
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with patients, families and external providers
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
