POSITION SUMMARY
Assistant Service Managers are responsible for the performance of the service department areas as assigned by the Service Manager at their OneWater store. They are passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their volume, productivity and profit goals through effective management of the service team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties (Most Important to Least Important)
Percent of the Time
Supports Service Manager to insure the proper scheduling of service work, and processes retail, warranty and internal repairs orders efficiently and in a timely manner.
Effectively trains technicians to execute successful service processes, to ensure the customer has an excellent service experience.
Supports Service Manager in the execution of successful Boat Shows, Store and Off-site sales/customer events.
Monitors paperwork process to ensure timeliness and technician bill time daily.
Maintains a clean, safe and environmentally friendly service operation.
Ensures quality control standards meets and exceeds customers’ expectations.
Demonstrates timely, high-quality completion of service repair orders as needed.
Successfully resolves customer complaints and problems in a timely manner
Promotes teamwork, and supports other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, financing, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boat.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 years of experience in the boating industry

Has a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of service knowledge.

Achieves or exceeds revenue and profit goals.

Exhibits a positive and energetic appearance in the work environment that contributes to the Sales and Service team members’ objectives
