Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Solar Warehouse employee to lead our work on day to day operations. In this role, you will oversee the efficient organization of inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution processes for solar equipment and materials. You will need to ensure seamless coordination across procurement, logistics, and production planning teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse performance. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced in solar parts and management.
Responsibilities
- Help with all warehouse activities including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solar components.
- Implement process improvements utilizing lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination to optimize freight costs and delivery schedules.
- Oversee procurement activities including purchasing, materials management, and vendor relations to maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with demand planning and production schedules.
- Forklift warehouse work
- Order fulfillment while maintaining high levels of accuracy in shipping & receiving processes.
- Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities including inbound/outbound logs, incident reports, asset protection records, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations within a logistics or supply chain environment; experience in solar industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, procurement
- Supervisory experience with a focus on team development, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
- Excellent organizational skills, punctuality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments including procurement, production planning, logistics providers, and senior leadership.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (not required, can train)

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
