Job Title: Overnight Cashier — 7-Eleven (Fri–Tue)
Pay: $19.30 - $20.30
Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, overnight shift (10pm–6am), averaging 40 hours/week. Duties and shift days may be subject to change based on store needs.

Join our team as an Overnight Cashier at our 7-Eleven, where you'll be the friendly face keeping the store running during the late-night hours. This role is key to smooth store operations — accurate cash handling, food service, and a clean, organized store. Duties
- Operate the POS system to process retail and food service transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give correct change with precision.
- Prepare and serve food service items (e.g., hot food, coffee, fountain drinks), ensuring accuracy and freshness.
- Maintain a clean and organized store by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, coolers, restrooms, and the sales floor.
- Stock and face shelves, coolers, and displays; check dates and rotate product as needed.
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries during overnight hours.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols for all food and beverage service areas.
- Monitor the store for safety and security during overnight hours, and follow store procedures for handling any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service — greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform general store upkeep and other duties as assigned; responsibilities may vary by shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, convenience store, or quick-service food environments is a plus, but not required — we're willing to train the right person.
- Comfortable operating a POS system and handling cash accurately; basic math skills required.
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours.
- Experience with basic food handling and food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during a fast-paced overnight shift.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work a consistent Friday–Tuesday overnight schedule.
- Must be able to lift stock (up to ~30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
