American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Community Hematology/Oncology Infusion position in NW Portland, OR, requiring at least 2 years of oncology experience and an active OR RN license.

Ambulatory infusion clinic setting within a community hematology/oncology program comprised of 5 clinic locations
-
Primary site is NW Portland; floating to other clinic locations (Beaverton, Gresham, East Portland, and Tualatin) may be required based on staffing needs
-
Patient population consists of adults receiving general medical oncology and hematology infusion services
-
RN navigator role includes patient education and care coordination
-
Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00–17:30, Monday–Sunday on a variable basis

Some weekend shifts required; no on-call responsibilities

Epic EMR experience required

Floating is rare but possible; float location preferences based on traveler's residence will be considered when operationally feasible

Active Oregon (OR) RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Chemotherapy certification required; OCN preferred

Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required

Minimum 1 year of ambulatory infusion experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required; charge RN references are not acceptable

COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions accepted
-
Responsibilities include administering infusion therapies, providing patient education, and coordinating care for hematology/oncology patients

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction applies

Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this health system must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who supervised them

Must have been away from the facility for at least 6 months to return as a traveler

Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks

Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
