FlexStaff is seeking a temp-to-perm Regional Field Nurse Supervisor for our client, a non-profit healthcare organization providing home and community-based healthcare and services for the elderly.
The Regional Field Nurse Supervisor is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in their homes. Conduct supervisory joint visits with Field Nurses. Provide training/in-service education to professional clinical field staff and paraprofessional staff. Perform nursing duties as assigned in the Diagnostic & Treatment Center (DTC) or Medical Practice. In addition, this role serves as a clinical oversight and quality monitoring resource for home-based clinical services.

Pay Rate: $74/hr
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, (1 hour lunch)
- Contract Length: Temp to perm opportunity based on performance and business needs

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Oversight, Quality Monitoring & Management-Driven Responsibilities as assigned.
- Conduct audits and validate clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with evidence-based nursing practice.

Perform joint supervisory field visits with clinical field staff, observe skills competencies, and provide oversight and supervision to paraprofessional staff.

Collaborate with partner organizations, care coordinators, and Interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Adhere to all clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and infection control guidelines.

Supervise, instruct, and guide CHNs, Personal Care Aides, or Home Health Aides.
- Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for assigned cases by coordinating care activities, monitoring service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: accredited school of nursing is required.

Licensure: Current active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in New York State.

Completed NYSED-approved infection control coursework.

Experience: Minimum of three (3+) years of clinical nursing experience, including 1-2 years in home care or a similar healthcare setting, preferred.
SKILLS:

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities, excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than one (1) year of experience but

meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.

Proficiency with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Experience with long-term care or managed care systems beneficial.

Vehicle and current New York State driver's license required.
- Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date
- Additional Requirements: Available for Weekends /nights/on-call coverage as needed.
