Position Overview
We are looking for professional, safety-conscious Drivers who are passionate about serving others. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, are dependable, and want to make a daily impact by helping others get to where they need to be.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles (passenger and wheelchair vans) in a safe and timely manner
- Pick up and drop off passengers at scheduled locations
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transportation
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and incident reports
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding schedules and route changes
- Provide respectful and courteous service to all passengers and partners
- Follow all local traffic laws and internal safety policies
- Assist passengers in boarding and exiting as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination
- Punctual, professional, and able to follow schedules
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience transporting youth or working in customer-facing driving roles
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening which includes Marijuana
