Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals according to physician-ordered diets
Assist with food preparation, tray assembly, meal service, and beverage preparation
Maintain proper food temperatures and follow safe food handling procedures
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, dishes, and dining areas
Assist with sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and overall kitchen cleanliness
Follow all dietary policies, food safety standards, and health department regulations
Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide an excellent dining experience for every resident
Must be at least 18 years old.
Food Handler's Certificate preferred
If not currently certified, willingness to obtain certification (facility assistance available)
Previous dietary, food service, or cooking experience is preferred but not required
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to providing quality service and compassionate resident care
