GrayCo Construction Services is a licensed general contracting company — licensed up to $3,000,000 — taking on commercial projects across Memphis, Jonesboro, Nashville, Little Rock, and the mid-south. We are seeking a driven and experienced Superintendent to own the field on our commercial job sites. This role is for someone who shows up, runs the job, and doesn't need hand-holding. You will be on site for weeks or months at a time, leading subcontractors across all trades, enforcing quality and schedule, and representing GrayCo at every client walkthrough.
Duties
- Lead daily site operations and keep commercial jobs on schedule from start to finish
- Coordinate and hold accountable subcontractors across all trades
- Perform quality control inspections at every milestone and enforce GrayCo standards
- Document site conditions, progress, and pre-existing conditions daily via CompanyCam
- Flag scope changes, delays, site issues, and material problems to the PM immediately
- Conduct site safety walkthroughs and enforce compliance across all crews
- Attend client and owner walkthroughs — you represent GrayCo on site
- Assist with punch list creation and project closeout documentation
- Communicate job status, schedule, and issues clearly and consistently to ownership and the PM
Qualifications
- Proven field experience running commercial job sites as a superintendent or lead
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously and hold subs accountable
- Strong eye for quality — you catch problems before the client does
- Comfortable traveling and staying on location for weeks or months at a time for jobs 2+ hours away
- Reliable, accountable, and capable of making sound decisions in the field without constant oversight
- Comfortable learning and using technology — we will train you on GrayCo CRM and CompanyCam
- Experience with Xactimate and working directly with insurance adjusters is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000–$65,000 based on experience
- Vehicle stipend + gas covered
- Per diem on all travel assignments (2+ hours)
- 2 weeks paid vacation after 180 days

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
