POSITION: INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
Effective 2026-27 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist teaching license.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:

Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.

Knowledgeable about co-teaching and universal education.

Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.
-
Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.

Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.

Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.

Works well in collaboration with other teachers, counselors, & community professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:

Valid Ohio teaching license.

Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.

Preference given to those with experience in English Language Arts.
