Job SumWhy Become a Special Education Teacher for Students with Emotional Disabilities?
If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference, enjoy building strong relationships, and
believe every student can succeed with the right support, this is an opportunity to have a lasting impact.
As a special education teacher, you'll help students overcome barriers, celebrate their progress, and
create a safe, structured learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and
emotionally.
Our program is designed to support both students and teachers. You'll work with a small caseload of just
six students, allowing you to provide individualized instruction and build meaningful connections. Each
classroom is staffed with mental health workers who provide direct support to students while
partnering with the teacher to foster a positive, therapeutic learning environment. Every classroom is
further supported by an onsite clinician dedicated to student mental health and an onsite house
administrator who collaborates with the educational team to ensure students receive comprehensive
support. We emphasize strong team collaboration, bringing together educators, clinicians,
administrators, and mental health professionals to create a unified approach to student success.
If you're looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference while working in a
collaborative, supported environment, we'd love to have you join our team. We value our team
members and offer competitive pay, professional support, and opportunities to grow.
