Full-Time | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility
Our client, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in the Sycamore, Illinois area, is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) | RN to join their leadership team.
This opportunity needs an RN with extensive skilled nursing leadership experience to improve quality care, mentor staff, and help maintain regulatory compliance in a supportive, resident-focused environment. Provide administration and management of Nursing Services according to physician orders and resident needs
Oversee 24-hour nursing operations
Direct the nursing team to ensure quality care in compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations
Mentor, educate, and provide guidance to nursing staff
Support interdisciplinary care planning and quality initiatives
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Compact state
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
Prior experience in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC settings preferred
Minimum of two years in a nurse supervisory role
Strong knowledge of clinical operations, nursing leadership, and regulatory compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, flexible, and professional demeanor
