Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Smoothie King. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quick service fast food restaurants and hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team. This role requires a hands-on approach to kitchen management, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service are consistently met.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction
- Train, develop, and motivate team members to enhance performance and promote a positive work environment
- Oversee kitchen management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of food preparation
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately and efficiently to ensure financial integrity
- Implement effective strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff to achieve business goals
- Utilize POS system for managing orders, sales reporting, and inventory tracking
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in team management within a quick service fast food restaurant environment
- Must be high energy, friendly and well suited to forming lasting connections with our guests
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team
- Proficient in kitchen management practices, including food safety regulations
- Experience with cash handling processes and financial management
- Ability to develop training programs that enhance employee skills and performance
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus but not required
- Experience in shift management including scheduling staff coverage during peak hours
- Multilingual proficiency or bilingual capabilities that support diverse customer bases are advantageous
