Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas using proper cleaning techniques and equipment
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are well-stocked for guest convenience
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet maintenance to maintain a spotless environment
- Handle trash removal and waste disposal efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public spaces to uphold the hotel’s standards of hospitality
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques enhances efficiency
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards ensures a high level of guest satisfaction
- Experience with custodial or housekeeping management is advantageous for leadership roles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment
