Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the chiropractic practice by assisting with patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic and enhancing the overall patient experience. We are looking for self-starters, self-motivators, team members that believe in what they offer and truly want to make a difference in their patients’ lives. This is a wonderful opportunity for training. You will train under one of the only sports diplomates in Nevada. You will learn sports medicine, advanced soft tissue techniques, advanced rehab techniques and if interested clinical nutrition and functional medicine
Duties:
- Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments by preparing necessary equipment and materials.
- Conduct patient assessments to gather relevant medical history and current health concerns.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies to promote optimal health.
- Document patient interactions accurately in compliance with clinic protocols and medical regulations.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations.
- Assist in treatments.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is preferred to facilitate effective communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent patient service.
- Ability to perform basic patient assessments to aid in treatment planning.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills relevant to chiropractic care.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
We offer medical, vision and dental to full time employees and 401k. Wages start at $15 for employees without a license or certificate. Wages for employees with a license or certificate are negotiable.
