Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Responsibilities:
Defining and adding components to the standard component library in 3D Experience
Researching components and contacting suppliers to gain further insight on the wire harness components.
Assist with the completion of clip and connector rear views in the Capital Symbol Library
Assist with the development of a 3DX modelling standard especially around the interface to the library
Manage new component requests as they come in from Jira and maintain an accurate status of completion for all 3DX components and symbols.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with 3D Experience, or CATIA V6 or CATIA V5
Self-starter and comfort working independently or in collaboration with others
Very detail oriented
Nice to have:
Experience electrifying electrical components for wire harnesses or other electrical components in a standard parts library setting
C++ and EKL knowledge for the purpose of further developing automations within 3DX.
Siemens Capital Mentor Graphics experience
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing and other related fields
