Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing sales through POS systems and handling cash or credit payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or hospitality backgrounds
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
