Field Operations & Property Maintenance Technician
Travel Required | Company-Managed Work | Mileage & Travel Expense Per Diem
We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated jack-of-all-trades who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and traveling to different job sites throughout Eastern Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, Western North Carolina, Western Virginia, and North Georgia and more.
This is not a position for someone who wants to stay in one location. Our ideal candidate is comfortable traveling throughout the region to perform a wide variety of field services for communities and properties.
What You'll Do
No two days are the same. Duties may include:
- Lawn/Common Area mowing and Lot maintenance
- Bush hogging
- Weed eating and trimming
- Tree and brush removal
- Minor repairs and maintenance
- Fence, sign, and amenity repairs
- Property inspections
- Equipment operation
- General labor and special projects
- Other field maintenance tasks as needed
Equipment Requirements
Applicants must already have reliable transportation that is capable of hauling equipment and tools.
You should have access to, and be able to transport and operate equipment such as:
- Commercial lawn mowers
- Bush hogs
- Weed eaters
- Chainsaws
- Hand and power tools
- Trailers and other equipment necessary to complete field work
If you do not currently have the ability to transport equipment between job sites, this position will not be a good fit.
Travel Expectations
This position requires frequent travel throughout:
- Eastern & Middle Tennessee
- Western North Carolina
- Western Virginia
- North Georgia
- and more.
Some days may involve several hours of driving to reach project locations.
We provide:
- Mileage reimbursement in accordance with IRS standards
- Meal reimbursement in accordance with our expense policy (per diem rates)
