About the Role
G.D. Woodworks Inc. is a custom woodworking business specializing in high-quality custom cabinets. We're looking for a skilled Carpenter/Fabricator who is passionate about woodworking and taking pride in building professional, well-crafted pieces. Our shop is located in Orange County, Garden Grove. If you have strong cabinetry experience and a great worth ethic, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Build and fabricate custom cabinets and woodworking projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and customer specifications.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform precise cutting, milling, assembly, and finishing work.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean organized shop environment.
- Collaborate with the team and remain coachable to learn and improve.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinetry woodworking, or custom fabrication (minimum 2-3 plus years preferred)
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with the following machinery:
- -Table saw & Panel Saw
- -Miter/Chop Saw
- -Router (handheld and table mounted)
- -Jointer and planer
- -Band saw
- -Edge band
- -Sanders, drills, and pneumatic tools
- Ability to safely set up, maintain, and troubleshoot common woodworking equipment.
- Great work ethic, passion for woodworking, and a genuine love for the craft.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines while delivering quality results.
- Coachable team player who is open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently when needed.
- Reliable transportation and consistent reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
