Role Description
The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chesterfield, MO, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding NDS's customer base. This role includes managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities in target industries, and presenting NDS's warehousing and distribution solutions. The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, prepare proposals and quotes, lead negotiations, and track sales performance against goals. Daily tasks involve collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and providing regular reporting to leadership. The Sales Manager will also participate in industry events, support marketing initiatives, and continuously refine sales processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with experience managing the full sales cycle.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, including effective communication and customer service skills.
Background in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or related services is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with CRM software, basic data analysis, and MS Office tools.
Solid negotiation, presentation, and proposal-writing abilities.
Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to work on-site in Chesterfield, MO and travel to client locations as needed.
