We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to oversee the daily operations of a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Brockton, MA.
The Nursing Home Administrator will provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This position works closely with clinical and administrative leadership to maintain regulatory compliance, support staff development, strengthen relationships with residents and families, and promote a positive and professional environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on and results-driven leader with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a passion for creating an exceptional experience for residents and their families.
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home and ensure efficient facility performance.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to department heads and facility staff.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
Promote high standards of resident care, safety, dignity, and quality of life.
Monitor facility performance, quality outcomes, and operational goals.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that support quality care and operational excellence.
Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and employee engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, employees, healthcare providers, and the local community.
Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
Manage facility budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize resources.
Work collaboratively with clinical leadership to support strong patient care and regulatory outcomes.
Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Identify operational challenges and develop effective strategies and solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing home administration, long-term care leadership, or a related healthcare management role.
Strong knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care operations.
Understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements for nursing homes.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage challenging situations.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary leadership team.
Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator License or eligibility preferred/required as applicable.
