Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable bartender to join our team Thursday through Sunday evenings, with the opportunity to gain more hours in other front of house support roles, and with possible growth into a server position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking food and drink orders, and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Communicate with front of house and back of house team members in a kind and clear way
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Bar prep such as fresh juices, batched cocktails, and syrups, and ability to maintain pars, communicate needs and prep more efficiently as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS, basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
- Experience with catering events or large-scale food service operations is a plus
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is advantageous
