As a Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for picking orders per customer specification, scanning inventory, and efficiently moving and packing customer orders in a fast-paced fun environment.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Pick orders per customer order sheet.
- Pack customer orders per company guidelines.
- Communicate with assigned team lead to prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly expectations.
- Inspect stock items for defects, reporting damages to supervisors.
- Assist others on the team to meet customer expectations and company service levels.
- Follow all policies and standards to ensure a safe, clean, orderly, and efficient work environment.
- Working additional weekend hours starting in September.
- Complete miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to lift, handle and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for 8- 10 hours at a time.
- Ability to work in various temperatures in a repetitive environment.
- Willing and able to positively contribute to a professional, safe, and conflict-free work environment.
- Ability to work well both independently and part of a team.
- Employees must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms and horns that may be used to warn employees of approaching equipment.
Compensation
- Base wage: $16.00
