Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick service and upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen equipment regularly
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to health regulations
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
- Retail sales experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not required
