Position Summary:
The Beverage Cart Driver is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and professional beverage service to members and guests throughout the golf course. This position plays an important role in creating an elevated member experience through attentive service, positive interactions, and proper golf course etiquette.
Responsibilities:
- Provide beverage service to members and guests throughout the golf course.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive service that enhances the overall member experience.
- Safely operate the beverage cart while following all Club and golf course driving procedures.
- Learn proper cart routes, traffic patterns, course etiquette, and areas where carts may and may not be driven.
- Accurately process member charges and beverage transactions.
- Stock, organize, and maintain the beverage cart throughout each shift.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the beverage cart at all times.
- Monitor beverage inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Follow all Club policies and applicable laws regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with members, guests, and fellow employees.
- Assist with other beverage-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability and willingness to learn proper golf course cart driving procedures and etiquette.
- Must meet all applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Previous beverage service, hospitality, golf course, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Schedule:
This is a seasonal position. Availability every Saturday and Sunday is required, with additional weekday and holiday shifts available based on Club needs.
