Candidate must have the ability to read and/or compare job files, bills of materials or other necessary documentation to board assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform IPC Class 2-level Soldering of both SMT and through-hole components.
- Assist with rework, hand soldering and advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintain necessary logs and records.
- Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Regular attendance by the employee is required to meet production goals and customer commitment.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe working environment at all times.
- Visual Inspection of completed pcb. Make necessary repairs based on workmanship standards.
- Solid understanding of IPC Class 2 and J-STD requirements
- Good English verbal communication skills.
- Able to read and comprehend work instructions written in English.
- Ability to sit/stand up to eight (8) hours per day
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch. Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience with the placement and soldering of through hole, and surface mount components, both with and without use of microscope.
