Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Includes one late evening shift and alternating Saturdays
What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you will support both clinical and administrative functions, including:
Welcoming and rooming patients
Taking and recording vital signs
Obtaining patient medical histories
Preparing patients for exams and procedures
Assisting providers during exams and treatments
Performing:
Phlebotomy
Immunizations
Point-of-care (POC) testing
Setting up exam and procedure rooms
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting
Preferred Skills:
Phlebotomy
Immunizations
POC testing
Strong clinical skills (e.g., accurate BP measurement, procedure setup)
Key Traits:
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong multitasking skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum).
OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years.
OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting.
OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
