Job Summary: The Mental Health Clinician supports student wellness by providing assessments and evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups, engaging families in the treatment process, coordinating with community partners, and offering training, consultation, and collaboration to Head Start staff.

Must hold one of the following Kentucky credentials, licenses, or permits: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT), or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing services to children and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders.

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a selfstarter, and an independent worker.

Experience with technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Zoom or other virtual meeting modes is necessary for this position.

Prior experience delivering schoolbased mental health services is preferred.

Experience in training and coaching educators and school staff is preferred.

Training in traumainformed care, deescalation techniques, or early childhood mental health preferred.
COMPENSATION: $66,811 - $77,536 Based on Relevant Experience.
