Taxable Rate: Up to $30/hour
Weekly Stipend: Up to $1,080/week for eligible travelers
Travel ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 17-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for an experienced ICU nurse who is comfortable floating between multiple critical care environments and managing high-acuity patients.

ICU Areas
The ICU Float Pool RN may work across:
- Medical ICU
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICU
- Cardiovascular ICU
- Cardiology/Critical Care
- MICU
- NCCU
- SICU
Nurses will float to units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients
- Manage ventilated and high-acuity patients
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive infusions
- Manage arterial and central lines
- Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Manage patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and mechanical ventilation
- Monitor and manage EVDs and other critical-care equipment
- Perform neurological assessments, including NIHSS
- Administer blood products and emergency medications
- Manage continuous sedation and other critical-care infusions
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Float between critical care units according to staffing and acuity
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
- Current NIHSS
- Epic experience required
- Strong ventilator management experience
- IV start experience
- Telemetry experience
- Critical care medication and drip titration experience
