Careful Counseling (Brookline/Back Bay) is an independently owned, psychologist-led group practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, ADHD, and related conditions. We are seeking a clinically minded LCSW or LICSW to serve as our Clinical Intake Coordinator, playing a central role in matching prospective clients with the right therapist while also maintaining a small psychotherapy caseload.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys both direct clinical work and the broader impact of helping shape a client's experience before therapy even begins. You'll collaborate closely with our psychologists, psychiatric providers, and administrative team to ensure each client receives thoughtful recommendations and exceptional care from the outset.
Unlike large corporate behavioral health organizations, we emphasize quality over volume, personalized care, and a collaborative team culture.

- Verify insurance benefits and explain practice policies and the intake process.
- Collaborate with clinicians to optimize schedules and referral flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record.
